VEGAS: VIVA LA DETOUR
FOUR DAYS. ONE WOLF PACK. SEVERAL QUESTIONABLE DETOURS. PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED.
Spring 2027 | 4-5 days | Small hosted girls-only crew
Timing somewhere between March and May — we’ll choose the best fit for pool season, pricing and the trip.
This is not “girls go to Vegas.”
We’re after the other Vegas.
Old neon. Fremont after dark. Poolside recovery. Secret doors. Excellent food. Strange little side quests. A reason to dress up. And at least one story that probably shouldn’t make it onto Facebook.
The Strip gets a cameo.
The detours get the starring role.
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING
A proper pool day.
A poker bar crawl where every stop builds your hand and one deeply undeserving champion eventually gets crowned.
Speakeasies, hidden rooms and places you’d probably walk straight past if you didn’t know better.
Something theatrical, immersive or completely ridiculous.
A very good dinner followed by something weird.
And possibly our own Hangover-inspired photo mission — wolf pack assembled, unnecessary props encouraged, good judgment optional.
Then there’s the detour we’re not putting on the website.
You’ll get the details when you’re in.
Some stories are better that way.
THE VIBE
Playful. Stylish. Slightly unhinged.
There’ll be nights worth dressing up for and afternoons where sunglasses and a pool chair are the entire plan.
We’ll build enough structure that the good stuff actually happens — without scheduling every damn minute.
Because Vegas works best when there’s still room to say:
“Wait. What’s that? We should go in there.”
THE ROUGH RHYTHM
ARRIVE. FIND THE NEON.
Drop the bags, meet the crew and start somewhere that makes it immediately clear we are not at home anymore.
POOL MODE: ACTIVATED.
One proper Vegas pool day.
No field trip. No cultural enrichment. No apologies.
FOLLOW THE DETOUR.
Fremont. Poker hands. Secret doors. Vintage Vegas. Weird little stops. Whatever earns its place in the final adventure.
ONE VERY GOOD NIGHT OUT.
Good food. Something worth dressing up for. Something theatrical or unexpected.
Possibly followed by decisions we’ll discuss selectively afterwards.
LEAVE SOME ROOM.
Sleep in. Wander. Shop. Gamble. Chase your own side quest.
Not everyone has to do everything together.
That’s kind of the point.
WHAT WE'RE IMAGINING
This is still being shaped, and early crew members get a voice in what makes the final cut.
Possibilities include:
Fremont After Dark
Neon, old Vegas, people-watching, questionable energy and a very good reason to stay downtown.
The Poker Crawl
A card at each stop, one increasingly suspicious hand, and a winner who may or may not deserve the title.
Secret Doors & Speakeasies
Hidden bars, tucked-away rooms and the kind of places you only find because somebody told you where to look.
The Wolf Pack Photo Mission
A completely unnecessary Hangover-inspired photo trail. Props encouraged. Dignity optional.
Something Weird
Immersive art, theatrical nonsense, oddball attractions or whatever earns the biggest “what the hell is happening?” reaction.
Second Shift Detours
The bars, stories, ridiculous stops and “we have two hours — should we?” ideas that tend to become the best part of the trip.
And yes — there is one classified detour that stays off the public page entirely.
Nothing here is a locked day-by-day itinerary yet.
That’s intentional.
Join early and you get to help shape the adventure.
THIS TRIP IS PROBABLY FOR YOU IF…
Women who like:
A little glamour and a little nonsense.
Pool time and good food.
Dressing up without pretending we’re 23.
A competition nobody needs to take seriously.
Exploring beyond the obvious.
And travelling with people who can change the plan when something better appears.
YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP THIS ONE IF…
Your ideal Vegas trip is three days at a slot machine.
You want every hour scheduled before you leave home.
Or you need the entire group to move together at all times.
We coordinate the core adventure. You still get to have your own vacation.
BRING YOUR BOOKING BUDDY — OR COME SOLO
Friends. Sisters. Cousins. Mothers and daughters. Work wives. Actual wives. Travel buddies.
We care considerably more about whether you add to the crew than what label goes on it.
Shared accommodations will help keep the trip affordable, with solo options priced separately where available.
And no, we’re not randomly assigning roommates.
We have standards.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
Estimated from $ 1,500 CAD per person
Based on double occupancy — including estimated flights from Calgary, transfers, a couple of group detours, and non-sense.
That gives you a realistic starting point for the core trip.
We’ll be staying downtown on Fremont Street — not on the Strip. That puts us right in the middle of old Vegas, neon, late-night weirdness and the kind of places this trip is actually being built around.
Final pricing will depend on the exact spring dates, hotel choice, flights and which shared experiences the crew decides deserve a place in the finished adventure.
We’re keeping the dates flexible between March and May 2027 so we can find the best combination of pool weather, pricing and flights.
We’ll spell everything out before anybody commits.
No mystery math.
The mystery portion is reserved for whichever door we tell you to walk through later.
WHY GO WITH SECOND SHIFT?
Because you could absolutely book a flight and hotel in Vegas yourself.
That’s not the hard part.
The fun part is turning Vegas into a trip with a point of view.
We’re using Fremont as home base, then building outward: the poker crawl, secret doors, vintage Vegas, ridiculous photo missions, excellent food and whatever questionable detours survive the final cut.
We’ll coordinate the shared pieces and leave enough room to follow something interesting when it appears.
You get the wolf pack without becoming its unpaid cruise director.
INTERESTED?
This is the “put me on the wolf-pack radar” stage.
No booking.
No payment.
No accidental commitment to four days of synchronized group activity.
Tell us who’s interested, who your booking buddy might be, where you’d be travelling from and anything we should know as we shape the trip.
Join early and help decide which detours make the cut.
Once we know you’re seriously considering it, we’ll walk you through the dates, pricing and trip details personally before you decide whether you’re in.
